Desired_Qualifications :
RK&K is seeking a Travel Demand Modeler with a minimum of 4 years of experience that has resulted in progressively increasing levels of project responsibility. The ideal candidate is an individual who is highly proactive and has experience in developing, calibrating and validating travel demand models and applying demand forecasting techniques. Working experience in one or more travel demand modeling software such as CUBE/TP+, TRANSCAD, EMME/2, ARCVIEW, MS EXCEL or ACCESS (including VBA macros) is required. Specific duties will include travel demand model design, development, calibration, and application; travel survey design, processing, and analysis; travel network/service coding; project evaluation for Alternatives Analysis/DEIS and major investment studies; report writing and presentation of findings; and client interaction. This position requires a BS or MS in engineering, planning or equivalent.
