1. Advanced Transportation Engineering Consultants (ATEC), Miami, Florida (August, 2008 – October 15, 2010) I joined ATEC as a Transportation Engineering Analyst in August, 2008. I had been mostly involved in Traffic Operations and Traffic Safety related projects. In addition, I was involved in Project Development and Environments (PD&E) projects. I have developed a good skill in performing analysis, performing field reviews, using traffic softwares as SYNCHRO/SIMTRAFFIC, HCS, CORSIM, TM Tools and writing reports. I have extensive experience in Florida Department of Transportation’s projects, which include:

* Intersection Analysis, Qualitative Assessments and Signal Warrant Studies: o These tasks involved field reviews, sight distance study, spot speed study, crash analysis, signal warrant study, preparing draft report, addressing comments from the clients and submitting the final reports. o Locations: SR 994/Quail Roost Drive and SW 167 Ave., SW 162 Avenue and SW 47 Streets, NE 131 Street and W Dixie Highway, Miami, Florida

* Pedestrian Safety/Mobility Assessments:

* Design Traffic Technical Memorandum (DTTM) for SR 710 between SR 70 and Allapattah Road, Florida o Major Tasks: Estimated future traffics, estimated future turning movements using TM Tool, performed segment analysis using HCS, performed LOS analysis of the intersection for present, interim, and design years for several alternatives using Synchro, compared alternatives, and updated the report.

* SR 836 Project Development and Environment Study (SR 836/I-395 and I -95) o Major Tasks: Involved in the development of freeway model in FREESIM (CORSIM 6.1), performed Calibration and Validation of the Model, performed simulation for existing condition and alternatives for different future years and performed LOS Analysis.

* Maintenance of Traffic(MOT) for NW 107 Avenue between W Flagler St. and NW 7 Street o Major Tasks: Evaluated existing condition using Synchro/Simtraffic, evaluated MOT condition (with Lane Closures) using Synchro/Simtraffic and prepared a report.

2. Lochner Engineering P.C., Newburgh, New York (November, 2007 - June, 2008) As a transportation engineer, my major involvement in this office was on pavement performance evaluation project for CALTRANS. My duties were to build database inventory and to perform different analytical related tasks. Additionally, I was involved in developing MOT Plans, performing Signal Warrant Studies, and conducting Traffic Impact Studies.

3. Department of Civil Engineering North Dakota State University (August, 2005 - October, 2007) I worked as a graduate research assistant in an MNDOT sponsored project “Volume Warrants for Right Turn Lane for Two Lane Roads.” I was involved in crash data analysis and modeling operational effects of right turn lane using CORSIM.

4. Snowy Mountains Engineering Corporation, Cooma, Australia in association with CEMAT Consultant Pvt. Ltd., Nepal (February, 2000 - February, 2004) I worked as a Civil/Transportation Engineer on Road Maintenance and Development Project (RMDP) and was involved in design of off-road structures, geometric designs, inventory surveys, cost estimation and construction supervision.
